Third edition of the Inside Europe programme, introducing a new element: direct mobility experiences in other EU member states for young people from socially and economically fragile backgrounds in Turin and its metropolitan area, a population typically excluded from such opportunities. During the trips participants produce journalistic and multimedia content on European affairs, disseminated through the project's channels, extending the civic education work of the earlier editions into first-hand encounters with EU institutions and member-state communities.

Enhancing Skills for Heritage Conservation: Piemonte–Kosovo Knowledge Exchange
Capacity building and knowledge exchange between Piedmontese and Kosovar professionals in cultural heritage conservation, centred on documentation methodologies for historical and religious sites in a post-conflict context. Training takes place at the CCR La Venaria Reale laboratories and at a pilot site in Kosovo, with a focus on photogrammetry, multispectral diagnostics and non-invasive analysis. The programme transfers replicable conservation standards to Kosovar institutions and produces a shared methodological toolkit for documenting and safeguarding contested heritage.

Éducation Nouvelle: Contribution to the Systemic Transformation of the Senegalese School System (Horizon 2035–2050)
A long-term programme for the sustainable reform of Senegal's school system, grounded in local cultural heritage as pedagogical foundation. The first three-year phase targets four pilot schools, 2,000 students and their teachers. The programme works across three pillars: cultural rootedness (endogenous knowledge, school cinema catalogue, strengthened school libraries, repurposed community education centres), digital sovereignty (school web TV, AI literacy, media education), and active citizenship. Full operational deployment begins January 2027 with an official launch in Dakar on International Education Day.

TRAFFICKING: Professional Training to Combat Trafficking in Human Beings in the EU
An Erasmus+ cooperation partnership in vocational education and training, developing a curriculum and professional certification for the Expert in Prevention, Protection, Support and Research for victims of human trafficking. Operating across six EU countries, the project produces an exploratory dossier on national legal and social contexts, a competence dictionary, a digital training platform, and a transferable training manual. H.OPES leads the EU-level communication and dissemination work, building recognition of the new professional profile among institutions and service providers.

Enhancing Skills for Heritage Conservation: Piemonte–Syria Knowledge Exchange
Capacity building for Syrian heritage professionals and students, centred on the conservation of the polychrome wooden ceiling of the Damascene Hall at the Damascus National Museum. The programme combined online training modules with a two-week in-situ pilot workshop, engaging 24 DGAM officials, graduates and students in diagnostic mapping, structural assessment and conservation tests. It established a working methodology for the museum's restoration teams and laid the groundwork for continued Piedmontese–Syrian cooperation on the safeguarding of war-damaged heritage.

Second edition of the Inside Europe programme, consolidating the network of partner schools and third-sector organisations in the peripheral areas of Turin and expanding the Angolo Europa information desk. Through workshops, multimedia laboratories and encounters with European affairs professionals, the edition deepened EU civic education for young people in fragile neighbourhoods, strengthened ties with local institutions, and continued producing analysis and reporting on the European Union for dissemination through the project's @insideeurope channel.

Il Villaggio: I Diritti Fondamentali nel Quartiere
A civic education programme in the Segesta–San Siro neighbourhood of Milan, structured around the articles of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights. Across approximately thirty workshops over the course of a year, each session is dedicated to a single article of the Charter and features an inspiring guest drawn from the neighbourhood or the broader community. The programme connects the Inside Europe experience in Turin with local community life in one of Milan's most multicultural areas, home to 88 nationalities, translating fundamental rights into the everyday language of the district.

Right to Read
A cultural cooperation programme connecting Lebanese and Syrian communities through reading, literary exchange and shared engagement with cultural memory, designed to promote social cohesion and intercultural dialogue in a post-crisis context. Working with the Fondazione Circolo dei Lettori and the Melkite Greek Catholic Patriarchate of Antioch, the programme built shared reading activities and public literary encounters across the two communities, using books and storytelling as common ground for people divided by displacement and crisis.

Improving Parliamentary Governance in Kosovo
A five-year EU-funded programme to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Assembly of Kosovo, its legislative, oversight and representative functions, delivered through the Cassiodorus Institute's Parliamentary Vivarium. Activities included parliamentary scrutiny training, gender-sensitive governance workshops, study visits to EU institutions, and a series of policy research publications produced with the Assembly's administration. The programme supported the Assembly's institutional development in the context of Kosovo's European integration path.

Reviving the Craft of Melkite Icon Painting in Syria
A six-month course in traditional Melkite iconography held in Damascus, training 45 participants in both the spiritual and the technical dimensions of icon-making using natural pigments prepared according to historical methods. Participants produced 116 icons, exhibited in two public shows that each attracted over 2,000 visitors, at the Faculty of Theology of Damascus and at the Zawaya Art Gallery. The course revived a threatened sacred craft and reaffirmed the place of Christian artistic heritage in Syria's cultural life after years of conflict.

Women's Small-Scale Fisheries Organisations in Jubaland
A research study on women's small-scale fisheries cooperatives in Jubaland, Somalia, conducted with Federpesca following the FAO Handbook methodology for mapping women's SSF organisations. Field data collection in Kismayo and Jubaland was carried out by a locally embedded analyst, with remote interviews where security conditions, including Al-Shabaab-controlled areas, prevented direct access. The study mapped women's cooperatives across the state and produced an analytical report and a policy brief recommending investment and microcredit initiatives for women in the sector, validated with GIZ and Jubaland authorities.

Somalia Fisheries Master Plan
Development of a national fisheries master plan for Somalia, combining field research, consultation with interlocutors and institutional capacity building to support the sustainable governance of the country's marine resources. Delivered with Federpesca for the FAO, the plan assessed the state of Somalia's fisheries sector and set out a framework for licensing, monitoring and the development of coastal communities, giving federal and state authorities a shared basis for managing one of the country's most significant natural assets.

Development and Management of Marine Fisheries in Somalia and Yemen
Capacity building programme for Somali and Yemeni fisheries officials, delivered in Rome in partnership with Federpesca. Activities included expert workshops, field visits to fishing markets and port authorities, and the creation of a database of fisheries and aquaculture operators across the two countries. The programme produced a set of standardised field sheets for fisheries regulation, published as the proceedings of the Rome workshop, giving officials practical, transferable tools for monitoring catches and managing marine resources at home.

Asilo San Giorgio, Maaloula
Reconstruction of four classrooms of the San Giorgio kindergarten in Maaloula, destroyed in 2013 during the jihadist occupation of the city, enabling fifty children of different religious backgrounds to return to school in a safe and welcoming environment. Carried out with the Melkite Greek Catholic Patriarchate of Antioch, the project restored a shared educational space in a town long known as a symbol of coexistence, contributing to the recovery of Maaloula's historically interreligious social fabric and giving local families a reason to return.

Syrian Children Refugees Integration Programme
After-school remedial education and psychosocial support for 710 Syrian refugee and Lebanese children aged 6 to 16 in two communities in the Akkar Governorate of Lebanon. Participants received remedial classes in Arabic, English or French, mathematics and the sciences, bridging the gap with the formal Lebanese curriculum, while traumatised Syrian refugee children received individualised psychosocial support. The programme ran through the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, adapting its activities to keep vulnerable children learning and supported through prolonged school closures.

Capacity Building for Sahrawi Mine Action Coordination Office
A joint initiative with EODITEC SPECIAL SERVICES (Spain) to establish the first Non-Technical Survey teams at SMACO, the Sahrawi office responsible for coordinating mine action in Western Sahara, the world's third most contaminated territory for mines and explosive remnants of war. The programme trained around 15 SMACO staff in the identification, mapping and marking of contaminated areas and supported a hazardous-areas database built on the IMSMA system. The institution strengthened was SMACO itself; the communities served were the Sahrawi population constantly at risk while moving through contaminated land in search of pasture.
